Sunday, April 21 - Our travelers started their day off with Mass at Iglesia de San Jose. Small world…Father Elson used to be at a parish in Lincoln, NH! Mr. Cardine did one of the readings at Mass. Then they were all off to San Felipe del Morro Castle and a walking tour of Old San Juan.

Monday, April 22 - The adventures continued as our travelers did some ziplining at the Rainforest Zipline Park in Rio Grande. Some rain got in the way of other planned activities, but that didn’t stop the fun at lunch, shopping, dinner…then a little gelato!

Tuesday, April 23 - Today was very adventure heavy. To begin the day, we walked from our hotel down the road to a bus pickup, which drove us to a shop where we got water and refreshments. After, we went to the rainforest hike. A long hike and a river crossing led us to some cliff jumping and rope swinging spots. Those who could swim proficiently were able to go and do a natural water slide made out of rock and erosion. After that, and some fresh fruit, we made the hike back. We then drove to a restaurant, where we picked up our orders that we submitted earlier in the day. We then walked to the beach, with crystal clear water. We departed the beach and restaurant, to go to kayaking in the bio bay.

Wednesday, April 24 - For the final day, our travelers first toured the beautiful Cathedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista, which dates back to 1521. They then headed to the beach for the afternoon before traveling home to New Hampshire!

A giant THANK YOU to Señora Cabrera for planning the entire amazing trip! And thank you to our chaperones -- Mr. Cardine, Mr. Toscano, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Wilder!!
